Why Skype make my X windows veryslow

HI
my system is 64bit. Skype is 32 bit.
it is ok after I install skype. but these days when I open skype.
My x become very slow.
when I move my mouse. it will stop and then move and then stop.
what is the worng?

xorg logs? dmesg output?

check if skype is eating too many cpu cycles.

Isn't it skype memory leak? Since I had switch from oss to alsa + pulseaudio, It happen sometimes to me.

i might have the same problem.

does it only happen when skype starts up? does the problem go away in ~10 seconds? does the problem go away faster if you go to the console and back (ctrl-alt-f1 then ctrl-alt-f7)?
for me, the answer is yes for each question.

does it happen for other applications also?
starting kinfocenter always causes the problem for ~10 seconds for me

during the problem, X uses 100% cpu and htop says it's kernel cpu

i don't know how to fix sad
