df: `devpts': No such file or directory

Running df gives me this:

[root@sherpa campbell]# df -Th

df: `tmpfs': No such file or directory

Also, here's my fstab:

/dev/sda1 /media/backup ext2 defaults 0 0

First, don't know what devpts and tmpfs are and if something is wrong here??
Second, my swap is /dev/sdb2 and is 6.0 GB, which seems to be missing.

Anyone know what's going on here??

Have you merged all .pacnew files?

df doesn't show swap here too.

Re: df: `devpts': No such file or directory

Thanks for the references.... guess I missed that somehow.......but I  changed by fstab as shown below.  tmpfs seems to get mounted under /tmp but df - complains  "df: `tmpfs': No such file or directory".

[campbell@sherpa ~]$ df -h

Re: df: `devpts': No such file or directory

The stock fstab uses just 'nodev, nosuid' for tmpfs mount options, not sure if adding 'noexec' is causing your problems.

Re: df: `devpts': No such file or directory

I notice that '/dev/shm' isn't showing in your output from 'df -h'.  '/dev/shm' is mounted, on my system, by rc.sysinit (lines 24 and 25).

$ df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
udev 10M 0 10M 0% /dev
run 10M 204K 9.9M 2% /run
/dev/disk/by-uuid/19dfef2c-fe93-4d43-b5ab-d9493f7c504e 9.5G 3.6G 6.0G 38% /
shm 1.9G 0 1.9G 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 1.9G 4.0K 1.9G 1% /tmp
/dev/sda1 46M 15M 29M 35% /boot
/dev/sda6 3.8G 805M 3.1G 21% /var
/dev/sda7 77G 3.4G 73G 5% /home

# pacman -Qo rc.sysinit
/etc/rc.sysinit is owned by initscripts 2011.07.3-1

Edit: I remembered that another way to see what is mounted is '/proc/mounts'.

$ cat /proc/mounts
rootfs / rootfs rw 0 0
proc /proc proc rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime 0 0
sys /sys sysfs rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime 0 0
udev /dev devtmpfs rw,nosuid,relatime,size=10240k,nr_inodes=482594,mode=755 0 0
run /run tmpfs rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,size=10240k,mode=755 0 0
/dev/disk/by-uuid/19dfef2c-fe93-4d43-b5ab-d9493f7c504e / jfs rw,noatime 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts rw,relatime,mode=600,ptmxmode=000 0 0
shm /dev/shm tmpfs rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime 0 0
fusectl /sys/fs/fuse/connections fusectl rw,relatime 0 0
