Cannot Connect to Wifi Network with rt61-based PCI Adapter

Hello,

I am having difficulty connecting to my network wirelessly. I get the following error when I try to connect through ArchAssistant:

Network profile 'myNetwork' failed to connect.

REASON:
- Wireless association failed. [FAIL]

I am using an rt61 based PCI adapter.

dmesg returns:

rt61pci 0000:02:08.0: firmware: requesting rt2561s.bin
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready

iwconfig returns:

wlan0 IEEE 802.11bg ESSID:""
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: Not-Associated
Tx-Power=18 dBm
Retry min limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr=2352 B
Encryption key:off
Power Management:off
Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

lspci:

02:08.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI

My wifi router uses WPA security and a hidden essid.

I have added the rt2561s.bin firmware to /lib/firmware/.

I was able to connect once when I added the below to the WPA Opts field:

PRE_UP='iwconfig wlan0 essid theswamp'

That command is still in the WPA Opts field, however I still cannot connect.

I am using ZMLarch 1.24.2-1 on Arch Linux 2.6.29.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
