I just recently did an FTP install of base Archlinux. I smoothly transfered to udev with not problems.etc.etc. When I finally installed Xorg and the Xfce4 WM and some plugins. IE netload. I found that my /dev/eth0 device link was missing or uncreated. Now my problem is I don't know how the hell to make the link to the device, I researched it and found that /dev/eth0 is virtually linked to the kernel modules somehow. Yet I didn't find a way to create it. So can anyone help?

/dev/eth0 never will exist. Linux does not create device entries for network devices.
Welcome to Arch Linux!!!

Never mind I solved it. I specified the network device as eth0 and it worked.
