Calendaring system on home Arch server, sync with Nokia S60

Hello all,

As the subject of this post mentions it, I am looking for a way to set up a calendaring system on my homeserver, which can be sync'ed with my Nokia E63 (two-way sync if possible, at least upload content from the phone to the server is needed). I used Horde groupware, but I have issues reinstalling after an upgrade (they went from 3.x to 4.0, but some deps are not satisfied). The Nokia E63 is syncml compliant but, AFAIK, not natively caldav compliant. Being able to display/modify the calendar events online via a web interface is a plus, but not required, as well as localization and multi calendar support.
I could do things with Google Calendar, but I think hosting its own calendar should be possible, as for the mail. Alas, I do not find any tutorial to do it, while setting up a mail server is extensively documented (I think it is mostly due to the mess in handhelds norms).
Funambol sounds promising but I couldn't get it to work on Arch, no success also with SOGO. I can install full featured mail/groupware/whatever software if necessary (but, which one?).
How do you other Archers do? What options did you consider before sticking to yours?

I'm very happy with davical, a caldav implementation in PHP/postgresql, for our small office (on debian), and I installed it last weekend on a new home-server for my parents (arch).

CalDAV is a lesser known standard, but the only open standard for calendaring. All Apple products (including the iPhone) speak it natively, evolution and thunderbird/lightning are supported. For Outlook there is a connector available ($20 one-time). The developer behind davical has also provided an app for Android.

I don't believe the Nokia E63 is able to sync with it. Pushing new events is possible through eJabberd - maybe that can help you getting events on your phone. The other possibility is that you connect with another client (Outlook, evolution etc.) and that you sync between that client and your E63. Symbian v3 was supposed to get a caldav-enabled calendar, but it has been very quiet on that front.

Davical is available in the AUR - and only yesterday iirc there was a new version released: 0.9.9.5.
