Problem with Bumblebee and nVidia Optimus =(

Hi. I'm a Spanish member, sorry for my English tongue. I need help to set up Bumblebee properly. I have installed Bumblebee with Yaourt (it installs nvidia drivers, too) and Intel drivers. I have put "nvidia" in MODULES in rc.conf. I have copied /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia to /etc/X11/xorg.conf because when I put "startx" in terminal I saw this is the xorg.conf used. System recognize my display but it crashes. What happen?

I post Xorg log and Bumblebee log...

Thanks!

Regards!

Are you sure that nouveau are not loaded and that the nvidia module is? If you manually modprobe the nvidia module, do you get any errors? Aslo, it would appear that the nVidia drivers aren't installed properly, there's this line in your Xorg.0.log

[ 242.816] (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/nvidia-bumblebee/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so: libnvidia-tls.so.280.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Nothing. No errors, no nouveau...

nVidia drivers are installed with yaourt, with bumblebee. It installs "dkms-nvidia", with is incompatible with "nvidia"...

Moderator edit:
analca3, the image you included is far too big. Please follow the forum rules: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fo … s_and_Code
More info about screenshot posting you may find e.g. here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=61754

EDIT: I'm sorry tongue. In another forum pics are reduced automatically, I don't know this detail in this forum smile.

RE-EDIT: Ups, problem... this log is before copy xorg.conf.nvidia to xorg.conf... with the new xorg (xorg.conf.nvidia) it don't write logs. There are empty yikes!!

What can I do? Do I reinstall the system and begin again?

Regards!!!

Re: Problem with Bumblebee and nVidia Optimus =(

I'm sorry for double post. But the solution is so simple. Xorg.conf is not needed in Intel drivers, so I erase it and all are working now big_smile!!!. However, I have formatted the system and install all again for a cleaner system =P. Thank you so much ^^

Regards!!!
