I'm trying to install the rtl8192se drivers for the Asus 1201n so I can get wireless working, but whenever I go into the directory and run make (there's no ./configure for this), I get this error:
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.34-ARCH/build: No such file or directory. Stop
make: *** [all] Error 2
any ideas? I've installed gcc and base-devel, so I'm kind of lost here.

You go to the wrong dir.
Look into /lib/modules/2.6.34-ARCH - what do you see? Search deeper. Look into /lib/modules/2.6.34-ARCH/kernel. Which subdir now - net or drivers?

Could you elaborate a little bit please? I tried 'make -c [dir]' but I think that made it look for the makefile in the directory, not to install there.

Welcome to our forums . You need kernel26-headers installed.
