I have a x86_64 install and I have been using the flash from AUR for a year now.
I just added the multilib repo and installed flash with pacman -Syy flashplugin
It seemed to install correctly but left me with this message
nspluginwrapper: no appropriate viewer found for /usr/lib32/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
When I open up firefox or chrome it says that I need flash when I go to youtube or something.

wrong way of installing flashplugin
you actually want to update _everything_ and also be sure you get rid of crap from aur like nspluginwrapper-debian/nspluginwrapper-flash and delete the old plugin from ~/.mozilla/firefox/_profile_/plugins
also there is a whole tread about flashplugin here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=103887

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
