Bittorrent shuts down my wireless connection

Hi

This happened to me a long time ago when I was a debian user : About 30-60 seconds after I start transmission bittorrent client, my wireless connection is terminated and only gets back after I restart the network card. This is really weird and I have no idea what is causing thi. If I connect my laptop on UTP cable I can use bittorrent fine. Even in wireless I can use it, but only for 30-60 seconds. My network controller is Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g (rev 01) and I use b43(with options pio=1 qos=0) driver with extracted firmware. If I start wpa supplicant in debug mode I get the following :

As you can see, my AP ssid is "1302NG" and wpa supplicants keeps trying to reassociate with it indefinitely with no success. However if I do:

$ sudo su
$ ifconfig wlan0 down
$ ifconfig wlan0 up

Then it will reassociate again. What could be causing this? Any help is appreciated.

Well, the fact that it blacklists your very own AP does look strange. Do you have similar behaviour e.g. with ndiswrapper and a Windows driver? Torrent connections have been known to bring down even wired routers before, let alone wireless ones.
