So i've set up squid3 on my linux box and i'm just at a loss on what i've done wrong, its working flawlessly caching and what not but i seem to be hitting a snag with Sonicwall, it still seems that sonicwall is intercepting anything and throwing up the messages about filtering content and some of it is a bit overboard. This is a personal setup on my machines and not anywhere else. It is for testing purposes

You obviously have a Sonicwall somewhere upstream from your Squid proxy... You'll need to configure it to allow your Squid proxy to not be intercepted, proxied and filtered.
