Do:
pacman -S mesa-demos

Open a terminal and issue:

glxinfo | grep -i opengl

Command will produce output. Copy and paste this output to the forum (and use BBC code as suggested earlier).

Re: Gnome 3.4 installation

You could try:

pacman -Rdd consolekit

Then install it again:

pacman -Rdd consolekit

Re: Gnome 3.4 installation

If you want the applications to work you may be missing the "gnome-extra" files.

Try pacman -S gnome-extra   - it should download the correct files.

Did you follow the advice of DarkCerberus?

You have to install it:

pacman -S gnome-extra

This will install gdm too. Look for wiki on how to start gdm. You can insert gdm in the end of DAEMON in /etr/rc.conf OR you can edit /etc/initab. Look wiki on gnome or this one https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Display_Manager   !!!!!!!!!!

Please, read more wiki. Arch way is that you do a lot of job by yourself! And if somebody suggest you something follow his instructions - don't stop in half of the way!!!

Wiki is your friend, read it!
