Connecting to the WebUI of a Linksys WAP54G

I am trying to setup a Linksys Wireless-G Access Point (WAP) as a repeater to boost the signal of a wireless router (see: Configuring an Access Point as a Wireless Repeater). Unfortunately, I can't access the WebUI of the WAP.

I connected my laptop to the WAP using an Ethernet cable. The lights on the WAP were all on (i.e. Power, red; Act, green; Link, orange) and none were blinking. I repeated the same steps with several Ethernet cables.

I created  a Gist, Connecting to a wireless access point, which is a record of my attempt to connect to the device. Am I missed something obvious?

I think this is not an issuea with Arch linux here... or Linux in general... or even the computer itself... you may want to be asking cisco.

Thanks WW, that's what I was thinking. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake since I hadn't used the `ip` commands before.
