I installed arch linux, everything seemed good until I noticed that I wasn't connected to the internet anymore.
I repeated the steps in the installation guide, and tried to connect to my network, the weird thing is that wifi-menu started hiding networks that I know are available from me including my network. Can someone tell me how to undo this and advice on how this could happen? thanks.

Can you see the networks from just the iw command?
# iw dev <wireless_interface> scan

I can see the same networks I see in wifi-menu. But when I reboot from the live usb drive, I can see all of them. I can't figure out what's wrong. I even did the installation process again and again bumped at the same wall. I looked for my stick driver, and in ubuntu page it said that It's included in the kernel, I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

Hard to give advice when no information is given. Please read https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
In this case I think some information as to lspci and some conf files.
Also have you tried networkmanager instead?

Are the missing networks 802.11N ?

I'm really sorry for this. I didn't keep arch linux a year ago cause I thought it was too troublesome and I didn't have the time, and I never got a notification about the replies here. So I'm sorry (maybe I would have kept arch linux if I was a bit more patient and looked back here. )
I'm using Arch now tho, still many problems but manageable
