wpa_supplicant Mexico from US

Mexico wpa_supplicant problems

I'm in Mexico, from the US, trying to connect to wifi with wpa and I am having difficulties. This is the second place I am at by the other network worked find with just SSID and password configuration, that was a 5G network.

I adjusted my config, tried with wpa_cli, put in country code,  and no luck yet.

I'm not finding good sources in alternative configuration settings so far. Could anyone give me some pointers?

I have termux on my phone so I should be able to get network info to help,  I'm not sure what info I'd be looking for at this time though.

Please don't paraphrase, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
Post the actual wpa_supplciant IO (incl profiles, obviously obfuscate the password)

Fwwi

put in country code

No matter who takes which sharpie to whatever map: you are subject to the regulatory domain of mexico and its rules apply.
They should be the same for 2.4GHz networks, but the 5GHz band is more fragmented.

"5G" isn't a wifi (802.11) but mobile standard (like lte or umts)
