saz - yes, if you want to say you were childish, I won't disagree. You've been around linux for a while, so you know that nobody here or anywhere else is obliged to help you. You bumped this thread seven times, and that does not include the post in which you said we were all "too good to TRY TO HELP", along with some other extremely popular four-letter word. I wish you the very best of luck with Gentoo, and I also ban you. If you have a problem with this, I'm sure you can find some way of contacting me to discuss it.

Why is this thread marked "[SOLVED]"? I'm having somewhat similar problems, and dove into this thread hoping for some possible answers only to find that the "solution" was apparently for the user to be banned and leave the Arch community. Slightly misleading if you ask me. Unless of course saz was the one who marked it solved, in which case I'm barking up the entirely wrong tree.
