pinging any address such as google.com ,all lost
but it still connect ,and i can install sth from ftp
why?

Do you have a firewall? Is it blocking ping?

What is the output of your ping?
As suggested by loafer, you may have a firewall that blocks ICMP echo request and/or echo reply packets...
