Hi there.
I have four issues with my KDE 4.10 desktop, I did a fresh install because I thought my desktop broke in the upgrade from KDE 4.9.5, but the issues still, and they are very annoying.
1st Issue: Login takes too long
This isn't a new problem, I have it since I use KDE (4.9.3 I think). Everytime I login I have to wait from 10 to 15 seconds, until the kmix and klipper shows up in the system tray. If I open the application launcher or an application it get frozen until these two icons appears (and the login sound plays). I am using PulseAudio, I don't know if this has something to do with it (I never tried without it).
2nd Issue: Notification applet totally broken
The notification applet that shows up in the system tray is totally broken, it shows the notifications in the other side of the desktop. If I click it, it looks weird. The applet get broken when the icon disappears (as shown in the screenshot below), it happens when the kmix and klipper icons show up.
3rd Issue: OSD Notifications shows in the wrong place
If I put the mouse over kmix or klipper icon for example, it shows the notifications in the top of my desktop. It fixes if there's a window focused.
4th Issue: Kmix mouse scroll shortcut
When I scroll up or down in the kmix icon in the system tray it increments/decreases 15%, is there a way to configure this?
Any help would be really appreciated, and excuse me for my bad english

The first one is PulseAudio specific problem on KDE, there are others who have had this.

Did you try removing the KDE temp files?
sudo rm -rf /var/tmp/kdecache-[username] /tmp/kde-[username] /tmp/ksocket-[username]
It worked for some visual glitches I had. Hope it helps.

Didn't work for me but thank you anyway.

Moving the pulseaudio.desktop file fixed the 10/15 seconds delay in the login (now it starts inmediately). That's awesome, thank you a lot!
I still having problem with notification applet, the wrong OSD notification position and I still don't know how to configure kmix applet. I will still looking for the answers in Google, but if somebody knows how to fix these problems, please let me know. Thanks!

I was getting notifications in two places at once, fixed it by removing ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc and recreating my panel.

Thank you but it didn't work. I noticed that the Notification applet doesn't work if it's in the system tray, but if I put it anywhere else (in the panel as a independent applet or in the desktop) it works properly.

Any news on second issue. I just did a clean install of KDE and system tray is broken. Icons keep moving and in that process they get overlapped or chopped or misplaced. I have tried "Always show" for system tray icon but something will pop-up like Chrome system tray and they all then go through same process of moving and getting chopped off. This problem is significantly prominent on Arch. OpenSUSE and Kubuntu seems to work okay in my short test.
