dhcp-range not accepted by dnsmasq 2.66

Hi!

The following range worked fine until I upgrade dnsmasq

dhcp-range=172.16.0.1,172.16.0.255,static

My network is 172.16.0/23 I use the lower 256 for static addresses and the upper 256 for dynamic.
I left out .0 for subnet id

The error I get is

dnsmasq: bad dhcp-range at line 8 of /etc/dnsmasq.conf

The funny thing is this worked for years.

Now it might be that the 0.255 is cause problems but

dhcp-range=172.16.0.1,172.16.0.254,static

gives the same error.
