The following range worked fine until I upgrade dnsmasq
dhcp-range=172.16.0.1,172.16.0.255,staticMy network is 172.16.0/23 I use the lower 256 for static addresses and the upper 256 for dynamic.
I left out .0 for subnet id
The error I get is
dnsmasq: bad dhcp-range at line 8 of /etc/dnsmasq.confThe funny thing is this worked for years.
Now it might be that the 0.255 is cause problems but
dhcp-range=172.16.0.1,172.16.0.254,staticgives the same error.
archlinux on a Gigabyte C1037UN-EU, 16GiB
a Promise PDC40718 based ZFS set
