It's probably due to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=159645 and https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=164287

Can you update just the archlinux-keyring package first?

Do you mean you solved your problem and things are working OK now?

Re: error: key "E6B456CAF15447D5" could not be looked up remotely

Hi,

i think it works for him/her, this downloading required keys error is connecting over internet keys server.

In my location (Europe) it is connecting to 5.135.166.171 port 11371 (pgpkeys.eu) to fetch the keys.
Reason is that he/she probably have set outgoing firewall.

Re: error: key "E6B456CAF15447D5" could not be looked up remotely

I think it's a problem with the texmaker package. See my other thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=168219

If you do a:

# pacman -Suy --ignore texmaker

I belive that you will be able to upgrade all except the texmaker package. Hope that helps some what...

I have no clue of how to find out what package has that "broken" signature If you have like 80 packages that needs to be upgraded... I had to filter out each package one by one with # pacman --ignore to find it, real pain in the a**.
