I'm trying to install nvidia, but it keeps telling me that xorg-server is conflicting with nvidia-utils, however (If I remember correctly) nvidia relies on xorg-server. I might just be a bug, How do I ignore conflict checking temporally? Is it possible?

I am going to assume you are using testing to get this issue... If you want to have X stop working, ignore the conflict!

Yes I am

By the way, I solved the issue. I reverted back to stable.

I'm not sure if this really "solves" this issue since xorg won't stay in testing forever…

I don't think they'll throw it out there while all nvidia users (or most of them) will conflict with it, making them unable to use X anymore.

joestrange8, next time please give the full error message. You made it sound like there is a file conflict, which shouldn't be between xorg-server and nvidia packages.
The conflict is because xorg 1.5 is not working with the latest nvidia in the repos. See the links given by cju for more details.
