My OS is arch Linux and my arch Linux connected to ADSL modem , and get internet from internet provider or ADSL internet provider , I pay money each month for 4GB of internet , but last month they call me and say I must pay more money , because I use 8GB of internet. I am sure I use only 4GB internet .I want understand how much of internet I use last month , or how much packets is transfer from ADSL modem to my arch Linux .how I can do this ,? Can I do this with applications or firewall ? Or script . this app or script show me how much bandwidth I use last month or everyday.

I use this internet provider for 8 month and I use all of these month only 4GB , I do not download and I only use internet for update my system and browse internet . last month they told my I use more than my bandwidth .
I want know how much traffics use everyday

You can not do this retrospectively. You have to grin and bear it this time.
I use vnstat to monitor this kind of thing.

This is what vnstat does. That's all vnstat does. Why do you "need another program"?

If you have a broadcom-based router that can run tomato-usb, it has a nice bandwidth monitoring feature that is good for all devices behind it. Just google on it from screenshots.

...and if you have an non-broadcom based router, it stands a decent chance of being supported by OpenWRT and friends, which also have this capability. In fact, there are quite a few stock firmwares that also have this capability as well.

I learn many thing from this topic . I read many document about vnstat , this app is great and good and help me enough , but if I can find another app can give me more and complete logs it is b etter .for example show me which website or which app use more internet ,it is better
