Hello everyone,
I use Linux a long time ago, but I'm new Arch user. It's been less than one month I started to use.
I installed everything just fine. Arch, Gnome 3.12, Chrome, Firefox, and a lot of other applications.
But a week ago my Google Chrome stoped to work.
When I try to open I can see the following message:
[leandro@tricolor ~]$ google-chrome-stable
[9908:9935:0604/134237:ERROR:nss_util.cc(853)] After loading Root Certs, loaded==false: NSS error code: -8018
ATTENTION: default value of option force_s3tc_enable overridden by environment.
[9908:9908:0604/134239:ERROR:component_loader.cc(138)] Failed to parse extension manifest.
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
I tryed to install the unstable version but is not working too.
The weird is when I try to open with root user, I'm able to do.
Someone know if could be something that I forgot on my user or if is an issue?
Thanks.

Check your dmesg and xorg logs to get more info and post it here.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

But it's weird, because it's missing my Xorg.0.log in /var/log. And it was there a few days ago.

I am having the same issue. Also Firefox is acting up and force quitting when I try to load a page. I just tested out about 5 different browsers and they all freeze up. I upgraded everything yesterday. I am unsure what to do besides just wait. I have no web browser that works at the time

I made the libxcursor package downgrade to 1.1.14-1 but didn't solve the problem.
So I remembered that the problem started after I installed a cursor icon package.
Then I commented the inherits property on the file .icons/default/index.theme:
#[Icon Theme]
#Inherits = FlatbedCursors.White.Small
And the problem in Chrome and Chromium was solved.
