Hi all, I'm fairly new to Arch Linux and it's mostly been going well. However yesterday I rebooted my computer and the internet wouldn't work. I seem to be able to connect to my router but not to any external connections (other computers can connect through that router so that isn't the problem). I don't really know where to begin with network issues so I'll give as much general detail as I can:
whenever I try to ping a url it returns 'ping: unknown host...'
whenever I try to ping an ip address it returns 'connect: Network is unreachable'
when I try to ping my router (0.0.0.0) it does establish a connection
wifi-menu displays a + next to my network (i assume this means it's connected)
The only network related thing I did before the problem started was setting up a firewall (ufw) so i thought this may be the problem but it persisted even after i disabled it
As I said, I'm quite new to Arch and don't really understand networking so I'm not really sure what extra info to add but any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums, and to Arch!
One of the great things about Arch is the project's wiki. I'd recommend you:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … figuration
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … figuration
So, what does it say when you execute the following commands?
ip addr
ip link
ip route
EDIT: sorry, our posts crossed.
