Since I often have issues downloading the packages (aborted connections with the usual workaround, low speed etc.) I set up an (automated) mirror of this repository. Details at https://github.com/enkore/mirror-repo-ck
The mirror is located in Germany and has some hundred mbit/s bandwidth available ; interestingly that server has much less trouble accessing repo-ck.com. Might be the bad peering provided by german Telekom to blame here for low download speeds at my home.
@graysky: If you do not wish that I mirror your repository, let me know ; I'll take it down immediately.

I would appreciate it if you would take it down. Why? With mirrors, I can't parse the server logs to figure out package popularity and understand if certain arch/cpus are simply unused. Since I build all 19 package sets on my workstation, it is quite time consuming. I only want to provide packages if people are using them. This is why I never liked the idea of mirroring repo-ck.

Today on my update I got this:
error: failed retrieving file 'nvidia-340xx-ck-atom-340.58-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz' from repo-ck.com : The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
So I'm very very happy with the mirror

Sometimes – i'm not able to figure out if it happens reguarly – the repo limits the download speed to roundabout 50 KB/s. All other Downloadspeeds are fine at the same time, so I guess it's the ck-repo that throttles. But why and why just sometimes (~ once a week)?

This is entirely my fault. i made a change to my build script which excluded certain arches from the update. I believe it's fixed now. Rebuilding and will populate repo-ck shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

That should not be a normal occurrence. I cleaned-up my build script and just made a simple mistake in the process. Thanks for reporting.

Yes and yes, the linux-ck-ivybridge package upgraded just fine.

Not sure what's wrong since it worked on my ws. Probably the easiest thing I can do is simply to rebuild bumping the pkgver and see if that helps. I need a few hours and will post when done,

Is there any reason the atom-ck would fail to revive from suspend lately?
I have seen this behavior recently on my infrequently used Lenovo S12 laptop?
It successfully revives when a non-ck kernel is used... .. .
Thanx

@keepitsim- Sorry, I have no idea. My standard question is do you see this behavior with the ARCH kernel? If it is related to ck's patchset, best to email him directly or post to his blog.

Cannot say WRT arch kernel, was not installed on the laptop.
Suspend does work when using Manjaro Linux 3.17.0-1 kernel.
More boring details: I bricked the laptop archlinux system when trying to install uswsusp (initramfs fail) to use as a workaround.
I then installed Manjaro 32bit where suspend worked. After installing repo-ck's atom-ck and the broadcom-wl-ck-atom, suspend failed.

Hmm... Manjaro do include BFS in their kernel (I don't think they include BFQ though)...
Claire is fine.

Hi there,
First I would like to tank you for this repo and it's great service for us all..
I'm using it for a while but without sign check (pacman.conf option commented: "#SigLevel = Required").
I would like to activate the signature check, but doing so, I get an fatal error:
"erro: falha ao obter o arquivo "repo-ck.db.sig" de repo-ck.com : The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
erro: repo-ck: missing required signature"
It's something like: retrieving file "repo-ck.db.sig" from repo-ck.com failed. There is also an 404 code.
I've tried:
You likely just need to sign my key:
# pacman-key -r 5EE46C4C && pacman-key --lsign-key 5EE46C4C
I had followed directions from wiki to add unofficial repos and keys at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/un … positories.
I tried to manually download the complainned file "repo-ck.db.sig", but couldn't find it.
Could anybody tells me what can I do to check it??
Thanks

Other way round. Manjaro kernel does include BFQ, it does not include BFS.
