Wireless internet keeps disconnecting.

After running some software updates this afternoon, my internet started connecting and disconnecting in an endless loop.  I've got a Broadcom 4312 chip.  I've been using the b43 module.  I tried installing the wl module, and that did the same thing.  I also tried using both modules in the LTS kernel as well, and it did the same thing.  Connecting an ethernet cable to the laptop sometimes garnered the same reaction--it just kept connecting and disconnecting, but sometimes, it would stay connected.  The only surefire way for me to connect to the internet is to USB tether my Nexus 6 smartphone.  I scanned through dmesg, and I couldn't figure out any errors or anything weird going on.  No other devices in the house have any problem connecting to the WiFi.

Anyone else have this problem?  I would appreciate anyone's advice.  Thank you very much for your help.  I'd be happy to post any logs or provide any additional information.

Are you using NetworkManager to connect?

Re: Wireless internet keeps disconnecting.

I am using Network Manager.  I'm sorry I missed that other thread!  I'll take a look and see if that fixes it.  Thank you!
