Is there any way to set color profiles based off .icc and/or .icm files? I cannot seem to find any option where i can configure color profiles based off off ICC color profile files.

There's no option for that. I use ArgyllCMS (package: argyllcms). You do

$ dispwin -I filename.icc

to install a profile and

$ dispwin -L

in your start script to reload that installed profile.

If you need to calibrate, there's a super good graphical tool that's built on it in the package dispcalgui.

Icons only task manage exists, but the feature what is missing is the control function, like enabling changing song for Clementine.

Yup. I have two conkies. One is a panel and the other is a "normal", with window rules to keep it out of focus and under all windows.
The normal one disappears sometimes for a second or two. I've noticed that a lot of times it disappears when I open Krunner and reappears as soon as Krunner retracts.

It is still a KDE4 application. This will hopefully change in August.

What? I thought the porting already has been done? This is disappointing.

It has, use dolphin-git from the AUR. It's working fine for me.

So any reason for that not being enabled yet in the repos?

Anyone else having touchpad issues in plasma 5.3? Touchpad actually works and can be manipulated via synclent, however touchpad kcm claims that touchpad doesn't exist.

What exactly is not released? Dolphin version of kf5/qt5? Is that in a separate branch or anything?

Yes, the KF5 Dolphin version is unreleased, its in the frameworks branch.

I must be missing something.

This is with a fresh install. When I goto add Widgets I can see a "Icons-Only Task Manager" entry but no amount of clicking will let me add it to my panel.

What do I need so I can use this

Doh - Thankyou.

I tried removing the orginal task manager from the panel but it still wouldn't let me select the Icon only task manager.

I created a brand new empty panel and although it let me select Icon only task manager and put a tick on its icon signifying that it was on the panel it still didn't show. I could then select the default task manger and that would show but then I couldn't do alternatives.

For me it seems the only way to get it is as an alternative to task manager.

Anyhow thanks for your help.

"Stable" is relative anyway... is systemsettings also crashing pretty randomly for everyone? I'm on 5.3 atm (though it actually says 5.2.95...)

Has anyone tried to install 5.3 from testing yet? Any breaking issues? I'd love to test 5.3, because with 5.2.2 I have quite a few annoying glitches that have been fixed in 5.3 (tested 5.3 already on kubuntu)

I've got systemsettings crash when exiting compositor settings since ~5.1. Nvidia.
I have commented on bug report with stuff gdb spilled, I don't know how to find it on bugs.kde.org though. HDD went stupid, home lost.

You have to unlock the desktop

How can I install KDM for plasma 5?

There is no KDM anymore.

KDM has been replaced by SDDM.
