Google search by image could find many versions of this pic ;-)
It's 106 miles to Chicago we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

"Versions" ? "Versions" you say !? I wanted the ORIGINAL photons, polarization, spin and all !
But yeah, thanx. I didn't expect much ... but it seems image search got really good these days.

Well, my trick is to search for the pic and then search for the one with the highest resolution. Usually it's the 'original' and not just scaled up ;-)
The best I could find is 3000x1500:

EDIT: Probably you won't find the RAW like that though ^^

Got my six monitors working, woohoo!
Programs:
Top left monitor, clockwise from top-left window:
Conky displaying disk usage
Custom script displaying TODO.txt formatted todo-list with items and projects
HTML calendar in surf web browser, generated using pal calendar program
cmus music player
Conky displaying ram
Top middle monitor:
Three instances of surf web browser, displaying RSS feeds downloaded by rawdog
Top right monitor:
xchat IRC client (I haven't moved to a proper text-based one yet, will soon change to ii)
Bottom right monitor:
Firefox
Bottom left and middle monitors:
uxterms
Rationalle:
Horizontally, there should be an odd number of monitors. So that one sits directly in front of you, and the side monitors are symmetrical.
On the main monitor, there should be an odd number of terminals, for the same reason: you look directly at the middle one, and the side ones are symmetrical.
Terminals should be about 640px wide, to fit at least 80 characters at a sensible font size.
By constraint 3, all monitors should be a multiple of 640px wide.
By constraint 2 and 4, the middle monitor should be 1920px wide, allowing to fit 3 terminals. In practice, this gives a choice of a 1920x1080 monitor, or a 1920x1200 monitor. I choose the second one, as I can fit more lines of code.
The side monitors can be 1280px wide; this allows to fit 2 terminals or 1 webpage. I choose 1280x1024 monitors, as that is as tall as possible for the given width.

Hey, in your github you have a readme that has instructions for a "Clean install". What does that mean? Is that instructions to make your desktop from a clean install?
---
And why I try to clone it, it asks for username and password.
---
Ok, I have almost everything that I need working. I still can't get the information from mpd and ncmpcpp to show in the lemonbar. I think it has something to do with the fifo file. What is supposed to be in there?
I also can't get the email widget to work -- I just get "err". What is supposed to go in ~/.gmail ? It's written in the conkyrc but it's not in your github.
Your help is much appreciated.

Yes. The readme in dotfiles are the simple steps to install all necessary software.
And why I try to clone it, it asks for username and password.
Username and password on github to clone? Is a public repo, should not ask for any pass.
Last line in .bashrc ask for password of ssh-agent. Is that? Yo can delete line 226 to 229.

Do you run mpd as user and later ncmpcpp? If you do "ncmpcpp --now-playing" get the correct song?

Is necessary to create a .private/accounts file to store account and password in $MAIL_USER & $MAIL_PASS. Is explained in https://github.com/electro7/dotfiles/bl … /README.md.
If you have more questions can mail me, to reduce unnecessary clutter in this threat.

Yup, it's an expanding supersonic turbulent flow simulation for jet noise prediction. Saw it in a conference presentation and later found it online.

Nothing major in the config, here's a few of the more interesting keybindings to control an instance of cmus running in detached tmux and the brightness of my dsplay.
# CMUS-REMOTE
bind 172 exec cmus-remote --pause
bind 173 exec cmus-remote --prev
bind 171 exec cmus-remote --next
bind 122 exec cmus-remote --volume -3%
bind 123 exec cmus-remote --volume +3%
# adjust brightness
bind 232 exec xbacklight -dec 10
bind 233 exec xbacklight -inc 10

Window borders and the titlebar are hidden by default. As is i3bar, which can be shown by holding $mod. It's a bare-bones config when it comes to the UI (hence no screenshot). The fonts share and sharetech are used, which can be found here.
Defaults to rofi (rather than dmenu), which can be found in the AUR.
Some of the scripts called from the config can be found here, and also an alternative conky configuration for i3bar.
