I ran nvidia-xconfig (nvidia-settings suggested it) and it broke Xorg. After that I read on the Nvidia page not to run nvidia-xconfig but it's too late now.
In the log it appears to be "no screens found(EE) that's the error. I've looked at other things:

I can't manually start xfce from tty2 and I think that my best bet is deleting /etc/X11/xorg.conf but there is no xorg.conf. There's xorg.conf.backup and xorg.conf.nvidia-xconfig-original. What should my next step be?

You don't need to run nvidia-xconfig anymore.
Remove any nvidia config from /etc/X11 and try again.
Archbang is not ArchLinux.

Yeah, I know it's not archlinux just showing that I have done research and tried before resorting to the forums. Also, yeah now I know not to run it, but didn't know at the time. Oh well.
Removed the nvidia related conf files but it's still not working. (Is there anyway I can export the log file to usb so that I can show the error log?)

What's your video card, packages and X.log
cp /var/log/Xorg.0.log #to where ever you want.

You have a dual graphics card setup, look into https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NVIDIA_Optimus if you intend to only use Nvidia or https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bumblebee if you intend to use the intel card as the main driver and the Nvidia card on demand.

Right now just trying to get Xorg up and running then I will focus on graphics. But I did follow the steps to install bumblebee and since I have the same error as the troubleshooting area I followed the steps but 1) still getting the same error, 2) I don't have etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf just regular xorg.conf

I deleted /etc/X11/xorg.conf and was able to startxfce4 from tty again. When it restarted I was unable to use the mouse/trackpad and keyboard/external keyboard. I rebooted the system and lightdm greeter works. However like before neither keyboard nor trackpad/mouse work. Can't even ctrl+alt+f2 to tty.
