I think I have some sort of dbus error, that and i3 status loads slow

Gnome apps are very slow while logged into gnome session and i3 status doesnt appear in the dock for 30 seconds after boot.

this is the xsession errors right after startup:

Im not sure if its related but permissions seem to be odd in that for some gnome apps are started as root or dont work for a while, Im vagualy understanding some similar issues people had but all  I understand is that my problems are d-bussy

I downloaded and ran d-feet, the d bus debugger it says everything is fine and dandy

well I couldnt find the code tags but now there's two replies people are gonna think its solved - the tag said inserted text - doesnt help that im colourblind

any idea about the problem?

So its acting up slightly more, I cant seem to open chromium iether

backup your stuff, and reinstall Arch with a fresh ISO.
Try SDDM or any other DM...

Is that why you stopped responding in 213463 and 213814?

Are you running starting the X server as root?
Please provide the journal of one boot from this system.

thanks for bringing these points up loqs,

I appreciate you wrapping these bits up I should have been more patient  Ithought that perhaps these things slip past the net.

I think that might be the issue starting up x as root because that would explain some gnome apps having the colour scheme I set root to have,, Im looking into how to return journal data now, I think I turned fsck off tho

I cant find a part of journal that might  be relevent

yes x is starting as root this is bad for me
