dot1x authentication not working via network manager.

Dears ,

After installing Arch, i used 802.1x authentication for a while and it was working fine. recently it is stuck at configuring the interface.  This is what i see in the logs:

It is complaining that there are no secrets. I'm using Plasma and putting the password there but seems Network manager is unable to access it. Any idea what could be the reason?

PEAP is used with mschapv2 as an inner auth.

Does a manual reconnect work (i.e. clicking connect manually in the plasma widget, instead of relying on the autoconnect)? Likely same problem as https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=232311
