I'm new to the forum and new to arch, but I've been using linux for about a year. So please let me know what logs or settings I should add.
I have an HP Envy x360 laptop with the Ryzen 5 and radeon vega graphics running Arch. As of writing this post everything is up to date. The printer is a Canon PIXMA MX452, I have set the printer up with CUPS, Avahi and gutenprint. The printer is wireless and it seems like CUPS has set up the printer correctly as I can set the default settings and such. I have tried to print a test page and a regular page, but they both stop at 23% and then it says that the printer has stopped responding.
I have searched online and in the forum and have not found anything that was helpful. I have tried using the outdated package for the drivers in AUR, but those did not work.
Thank you for any help you provide.

Can you enable debugging in te CUPS interface and examine the log file (/var/log/cups/error_log).

Thank you Olive.
I enabled debugging in the CUPS interface and I copy and pasted the output while trying to print a test page to the pastebin here: https://pastebin.com/FwXDXpT0. I'm not exactly sure what to look for, so any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Something seems to be going wrong with your hostname resolution:
[Job 22] Unable to locate printer \"0E7327000000.local\".
Either change to a static hostname, or ensure that Avahi is set up correctly and is functioning (you should be able to ping 0E7327000000.local).

Thank you all for your help. And thank you pypi, I did not set up Avahi correctly. After I set it up correctly I was able to ping the printer and I also was able to print.
