Re: [SOLVED] SSD filling up because of backup failure

idk how this works but you previously had

/var/lib
- /var

and apparently /var/lib was picked up, so maybe try trailing "- /var" ?

Trailing it doesn't seem to work. This globbing is arcane.

Re: [SOLVED] SSD filling up because of backup failure

Maybe some stray char in the file?
What if you only remove the "/var/lib/upower" line?

Re: [SOLVED] SSD filling up because of backup failure

Nope. It just keeps saying

Reading globbing filelist /usr/local/lib/globbing_list
Local and Remote metadata are synchronized, no sync needed.
Last inc backup left a partial set, restarting.
Last full backup date: Mon Apr 13 00:00:11 2020
RESTART: Volumes 172 to 172 failed to upload before termination.
         Restarting backup at volume 172.
Restarting after volume 171, file var/lib/dhcpcd/proc/1246/pagemap, block 2568921
File var/lib/dhcpcd/proc/1246/pagemap complete in backup set.
Continuing restart on file var/lib/dhcpcd/secret.

Re: [SOLVED] SSD filling up because of backup failure

Well but that's not the previous globbing error. Actually it doesn't look like an error at all?
Do you still get https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 0#p1900860  in the status?

Re: [SOLVED] SSD filling up because of backup failure

I'm not getting the error when just running it directly. I'll run it through systemd and close this thread if it works.

Why are you backing up /dev ?

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

I'm not. It's an include list. The dash means it's being excluded.
