idk how this works but you previously had
/var/lib - /var
and apparently /var/lib was picked up, so maybe try trailing "- /var" ?
Trailing it doesn't seem to work. This globbing is arcane.

What if you only remove the "/var/lib/upower" line?

I'm not getting the error when just running it directly. I'll run it through systemd and close this thread if it works.
