Only "issue" is some compatibility problem with the nvme ssd. Fixed by adding

nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=5500

as kernel parameter

Re: Laptops which run Arch

HP Pavilion Notebook Star Wars edition.
CPU: Intel i5-6200U (4) @ 2.800Ghz.
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 940M
GPU: Intel Skylake GT2 HD Graphics 52
Memory: 8GB.

Installed about one week. So far everything was pretty smooth. Only had some problems with the hybrid GPU in order to make the nvidia drivers to work. But after installed optimus-manager I got it working too. Now I'm testing Unity3D (game engine).

Re: Laptops which run Arch

Hello,

HP Pavilion Laptop 14-ce3005
CPU: Intel i5-1035G1 (8) @ 3.600GHz
GPU: Intel Device 8a56
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX130
Memory: 16GB

Arch with XFCE all work "out of the box"  just install Nvidia driver and optimus manager.

Re: Laptops which run Arch

HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13z-ay000 touch

Color: Nightfall Black
Screen: 13.3" diagonal FHD, IPS, BrightView, WLED-backlit, multitouch-enabled, Integrated privacy screen, 1000 nits (1920 x 1080) //This is bright enough to melt your face in a dark room.
Sotrage: 128 GB M.2 SSD
Keyboard: Full-size island-style backlit nightfall black keyboard PVCY
Wifi: Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX 200 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5 combo (Supporting Gigabit file transfer speeds)
Mic/Cam: HP Wide Vision HD Camera + integrated dual array digital microphone (Nightfall Black)
Power: 3-cell, 51 Wh Li-ion polymer
CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 7 4700U (2.0 GHz, up to 4.2 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 8 cores) + AMD Radeon™ Graphics + 16 GB Memory
Pen: HP Pen (dark ash silver)

Issues:
Mic only works with sof-firmware and a custom kernel like in this forum post -> https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=256843
Fortunately it takes less than an hour to compile smile
Battery doesn't report discharge properly. Powertop seems to think there's 1400 hours of battery life.

What works?
Everything else works flawlessly right down to the pen having pressure sensitivity in Krita.
