Hello,
I have a Lenovo Ideapad S145 laptop and the FN + F6 keys for mouse toggle do not work.
The system does not recognize the FN + F6 combination. The rest of the function keys do work with the FN key.
Thanks

Something similar but for different keys on HP laptops...

Is there a bios update for your laptop?
If you are already using the latest version, then use a different set of keystrokes as mentioned in those links.
Cheers
Paul.

I already tried the solutions of the posts you mention. The BIOS is updated. FN + F6 Still not working.

If FN-F6 is never recognised as a keypress by xev for instance, you won't be able to assign it for the mouse toggle to work.
You could assign an alternative keypress, like shift-F6 instead. To do that depends on which desktop you are using.

After researching for a few months I discovered that in Windows you have to install the touchpad drivers for Fn + F6 to work.
Is there an option in Linux? Anyone with a Lenovo prototype with the same problem?
