Ok thanks for the advice.

Ok anyway after some time I decided to try again to reinstall a graphical environment on this device, at first I tried kde but anyway then I thought that having such an old video card can't handle kde well so I thought about installing xfce4.
With xfce4 and changing to lightdm I have not had a lot of luck, when I try to start it no longer crashes on "/dev/sda ..." but the message "[FAILED] Failed to start Light Display Manager. appears and I have to press control + alt + f2, it asks me for username and password but in the command line without graphics. I tried to manually start the xfce4 desktop environment from the command line and it works and goes to the desktop but it is full of graphical glitches and I still can't start it from lightdm. And most importantly, some time ago I couldn't get xorg logs by booting with sddm but by starting xfce4 manually the xorg logs are there, from this I can understand that lightdm and sddm have problems booting on my device.

As far as I know this graphics controller is simply not sufficient for a lot of stuff and I'm pretty sure both lightdm and sddm want to use some form of OpenGL that's not likely to be present.

This video card is certainly very old, as you can see, however, on other distros when I install I do not find graphics problems, even with android x86, I have not yet understood how it is possible.
P.S:Collected logs with journalctl -u lightdm > lightdmlogs.log : https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/HF2Nz2bZdH/

I suggest you download from here.git clone https://github.com/rasdark/xf86-video-sis671/ cd xf86-video-sis671 ./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static make sudo make installMost of this equipment is low-budget laptops from 2006-2007. Just like those based on VIA Chrome, mostly with 32-bit processors (pentium-m, yonah), few with Core 2 (64-bit).
THANK YOU!! I got it working with this ! It is still very slow, but resolution got upto 1280x800 !

Ok I found that the problem is the missing greeter, now I managed to start LightDM and xfce without problems the problem is that now it is full of graphic bugs and I have no idea how to fix
P.S: Looking in the settings there is a very low resolution and 0.0 Hz refresh rate

If you disable acceleration are the issues still present? What if you switch to the vesa driver?
XP.S: Looking in the settings there is a very low resolution and 0.0 Hz refresh rate
Those values seem unlikely to be correct, do they agree with those from Xorg.0.log?

I don't know how to disable acceleration, however I'm using vesa drivers.
The resolution is very low and few coincide with the logs, most of the resolutions, even high ones, are in the logs but not in the settings in the screen.

I missed you were now using the vesa driver, so there is no acceleration to disable.
What if you set the monitor resolution using Xorg#Manual_configuration?

Please post an updated xorg log and maybe a link to a screenshot of the "graphic bugs" to get us an idea where you're at.

Disable the xfwm compositor and post the output of "xrandr -q"

Please don't use ubuntu's pastebin, it's horrible and requires an account to get the raw text.

Looks like some VGA to XGA default modes for the vesa driver (because you're not getting an EDID)

Are yo usure about the 64Hz? That's pretty non-standard.
Anyway, check the output of "xrandr -q", the mode was likely created and you can now --addmode it.
The message is not fatal.
