Re: No grub config

You can't find it?  Did you check all your pockets?

Re: No grub config

To do what? Break your system?
If you don't have any grub.cfg you either don't use grub or you can't boot anything from grub.

How did you install archlinux? Why did you never come across https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GRUB ?

Sure.  I'll wrap it in some of my old underwear.  I'm sure  those will fit you just as well, and be no more awkward sharing.

Oh wait, I don't use grub, so that wont work.  Would you still want the underwear?

Aparently you haven't found our wiki page on grub, which you would have / should have followed when you initially installed / configured grub.  So this then begs the question in seth's post: how did you initially install this system?

Note that more generally - if a file that is provided by a package is deleted, you can just reinstall that package to restore it.  If a file that you are expected to create yourself is deleted, you need to recreate it yourself in exactly the same fasion as when you first set it up.  There are no short cuts around that - and there is no need for shortcuts in this case, as it is a completely trivial processes if you have even the vauguest idea what you are doing (which you would if you had done it before!)
