DaVinci Resolve 20 Has no audio playback, only ALSA capture node created
My system:
Arch Linux, kernel linux-cachyos
AMD Ryzen 7 5700, AMD Radeon RX 550 (radeonsi)
KDE Plasma 6, Wayland
PipeWire 1.6.4 with pipewire-alsa, pipewire-pulse, pipewire-jack, alsa-plugins
Problem:
DaVinci Resolve 20.3.2 (davinci-resolve AUR package) opens correctly but has no audio output. When checking pw-cli ls Node, only alsa_capture.resolve appears, never alsa_playback.resolve. In Preferences → Video and Audio I/O, only "System Audio" is available with no selectable devices.
What I tried:
/etc/asound.conf with pulse, hw:2,0, and pipewire configurations
LD_PRELOAD with libgio, libgmodule, libglib
pw-jack /opt/resolve/bin/resolve
Fairlight → Patch Input/Output patching ALSA 1+2
Removing ~/.local/share/DaVinciResolve and reconfiguring
alsa-plugins, realtime-privileges, adding user to audio group
Note: DR (Davinci resolve) worked previously on Bazzite with davincibox and on a previous Arch install using the .run installer directly.
libc++ and libc++abi were downgraded to 2.0.1.x because davinci resolve wasnt compatible with newer versions.
Any help is appreciated.

pipewire-alsa reroutes all alsa calls to pipewire .
Does DR have sound if you remove pipewire-alsa, /etc/asound.conf and reboot ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Update: After enabling Pro Audio on the capture device, the output node now appears in pw-cli:
application.name = "ALSA plug-in [resolve]"
node.name = "ALSA plug-in [resolve]"
media.class = "Stream/Output/Audio"However, when trying to manually link it with pw-link, the nodes disappear almost immediately — DR seems to be creating and destroying the audio stream constantly. The taskbar audio mixer also flickers when DR is open. Still no audio output.

I'm having that same problem, did you manage to find a solution?
