[SOLVED] Wifi adapter connects to 5G network but is unstable

Hi, I am running a RTL8852BE wifi adapter on my system and when connecting to a 5G network it will go to 5.765 GHz (channel 153 according to my router), however my adapter claims to only support up to 149. When I connect to the network I will sometimes get kicked off and NetworkManager will continuously ask me for the network password. Is this a driver or hardware problem or is this normal believer?

Also the highest channel that both my router and my adapter support is 48 if that matters.

149 & 153 are the same 40MHz channel  and are actually legal in most areas, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_W … /ax/be/bn)

Please post your complete system journal for the after some disconnect:

sudo journalctl -b > /tmp/journal.txt

and upload journal.txt somehow (in doubt see the 1st link below)

The problem seems to have solved itself. I don't know what changed if anything.
