Request to Add arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc Package

Hi All,

Could we please have arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc available as an installable package? This toolchain is essential for supporting ARMv7 devices running Linux, such as Raspberry Pi 2/3 in 32‑bit mode, BeagleBone boards, and other embedded Linux platforms.

-Thanks,
Anand

Re: Request to Add arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc Package

Yes, I attempted to build on an x86 CPU, but the process failed. I also tried the suggested solution, yet it still isn’t working

# 1. Headers
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/arm-linux-gnu … eaders.git
cd arm-linux-gnueabihf-linux-api-headers && makepkg -si

# 2. Binutils
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/arm-linux-gnu … nutils.git
cd arm-linux-gnueabihf-binutils && makepkg -si

# 3. GCC Stage1
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/arm-linux-gnu … stage1.git
cd arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc-stage1 && makepkg -si

# 4. Glibc
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/arm-linux-gnueabihf-glibc.git
cd arm-linux-gnueabihf-glibc && makepkg -si

# 5. GCC Stage2
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/arm-linux-gnu … stage2.git
cd arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc-stage2 && makepkg -si

# 6. Final GCC
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc.git
cd arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc && makepkg -si

If he uses an x86_64 machine, to compile any AUR package, this is a valid post.
