Re: CPU temperature seems rather high

I have a Toshiba Satellite A205-S4577 Laptop. It starts from 50 and at most goes upto 82 while compiling a kernel. Generally, it stays about 65. :S

Re: CPU temperature seems rather high

I have a Dell Inspiron 1420 and I have hapilly run archlinux on it for the past year.
I had not done a pacman -Syu in about 6 months ( slack arent I )
anyhoo I decided to do a fresh install of archlinux 2 weeks ago,
Now my laptop is not good.
First there was the nvidia & crazy fan issue, FIXED, but the laptop is running soooo hot.
50 - 60 degrees C at idle where it normally sits around the 35c mark.
I installed vista ( it come with it ) and the temp is fine. hovers around 35 still so that rules out a hardware issue.
Any ideas where I should look to help this out ?
