NAS server based on Arch [Solved]

What is the mileage in running Arch as a NAS server? have tried FreeNAS but it does not like my new hardware

Openfiler sounds good but I have not tried it yet...

Would there be any mileage in creating an ArchNAS? if so would anyone be interested in using it?

Re: NAS server based on Arch [Solved]

I'm using Arch for my 'NAS', which was previously a FreeNAS box. Works lovely, plus I can do more than just NAS (http and dns mainly).

Do you use a web based control panel in the same way as FreeNAS does or just ssh in to do your thing ?
