Is SASL a modular feature? If so you may want to submit a feature request for SASL support  through the bug tracker. That way you do not have to compiole each time the maintainer can wink

Or you could just use my srcpac rule from here and have it automatically compiled every time there's a new version:

True but if it is a modular feature it may not hurt to have it there ... it was just a suggestion.

It's not modular.  It becomes a dependency once you compile it in.
