I had to go into rc.conf and put the usb modules, --ohci-hcd, uhci-hcd, usblp, then parport, and parport_pc. Then add cups to the Daemon section. Reboot and use the add printer in KDE and it worked! Getting closer and closer to dumping windows!! Thanks everybody --Larry
You gotta love linux!!

Why would you need parallel port and USB modules? Your printer can only be one or the other.

If your printer is usb only you don't need parport and parport_pc modules.
The modules ohci-hcd and uhci-hcd are both for usb 1.1 (ehci-hcd is for usb 2.0). You probably want only one of them. Plus you need usblp. Also try using hwd for detecting hardware and modules.

If it's a USB printer, you shouldn't need the parport modules.
