I'm a total newb at networking stuff so forgive me.
I just set up SAMBA on my home network so that I can share files between any computer in the house, without a password. We have a wireless connection.
I just want to make sure that nobody can just walk by and browser our shared files without knowing our WPA-encrypted password, right?

Without knowing the password for your wireless network, then they can not join your network, hence they can't see the traffic (including Samba).
Of course, if your password is "abc" or "password" or something else easily crackable, then no guarantees if someone knowledgeable tries to break in.

I was pretty sure of that, but I was just making sure that setting the shares to not require a password didn't mess something up.
Eh, like I said, I'm just a newb at this and needing someone else to tell me.
Thanks
