Are you sure the little hardware wireless switch at the front side of the laptop is ON - and the little wireless LED is glowing?
Philosophy is looking for a black cat in a dark room. Metaphysics is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there. Religion is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there and shouting "I found it!". Science is looking for a black cat in a dark room with a flashlight.

I entered to the mayhem of ArchLinux.
Ehmm... if you don't like "the mayhem of Archlinux", please consider using an alternative distro.
If you're serious about using Arch, stay on topic and avoid negatve comments such as that quoted.

I have the 2.6.35 kernel installed. I downloaded the tarball from the AUR to ~/builds and then entered the following commands at a bash prompt:
cd ~/builds
tar -xvzf rtl8192se.tar.gz
cd rtl8192se
makepkg -s
and after a couple of seconds the build completed and I had a file called rtl8192se-2.6.0017.0705.2010-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz ready to install...
It worked just like http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR … he_package said it should
Edit: fixed bbcodes

Thank you Dogmeat, you were right. Thou, still got this error:
==> Validating source files with md5sums... rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0017.0705.2010.tar.gz ... Passed ==> Extracting Sources... -> Extracting rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0017.0705.2010.tar.gz with bsdtar ==> Starting build()... make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.33-ARCH/build: No such file or directory. Stop. make: *** [all] Error 2 Aborting...
I installed the new kernel, as I wrote before -that's the solution I found in most of the pages I saw, but not working for me-
Any suggestion please?
kernel 2.6.33 is too old and you need kernel26-headers.
marek@acerntb ~ $ pacman -Q kernel26 kernel26-headers
kernel26 2.6.35.7-1
kernel26-headers 2.6.35.7-1

Did you remember to install the package after you built it?
