Ehmm... if you don't like "the mayhem of Archlinux", please consider using an alternative distro.

I have the 2.6.35 kernel installed.  I downloaded the tarball from the AUR to ~/builds and then entered the following commands at a bash prompt:

cd ~/builds
tar -xvzf rtl8192se.tar.gz
cd rtl8192se
makepkg -s

and after a couple of seconds the build completed and I had a file called rtl8192se-2.6.0017.0705.2010-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz ready to install...
It worked just like http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR … he_package said it should

I installed the new kernel, as I wrote before -that's the solution I found in most of the pages I saw, but not working for me-

Any suggestion please?

kernel 2.6.33 is too old and you need kernel26-headers.

kernel26 2.6.35.7-1
