After last upgrade, BCM4322 wireless adapter stopped working...

My Broadcom BCM4322 wireless card stopped working after the last update.

Any idea what might have changed that made it stop working?

Note: I had previously gotten it working using the broadcom-wl method using the "wl" module.
Note: I'm going to attempt to use b43, b43-firmware-newest, and b43-fwcutter and see if that works and post the results in case anyone else has this issue, but according to the link i found in the wiki (http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Dri … CI_devices), BCM4322 cards are not supported by the b43 drivers...

Re: After last upgrade, BCM4322 wireless adapter stopped working...

same problem here,,
BCM4311 stopped working with broadcom-wl, but i don't know exactly when, because I was using wired LAN for a while ( like a month ).
Don't know what caused it (or which update), but i think since 2.6.36 i kept getting problems with broadcom-wl.
Sometimes my wireless card just doesnt show up on ifconfig -a, even though the modules are loaded properly,
and now it stops working altogether. So for now im using b43.

You guys should update to kernel 2.6.37 and use the brcm80211 driver instead.

brcm doesn't support many of the older chipsets, including 4311.

It might also be related to the consolekit upgrade as mentioned in this thread.
