Hi, there.
I know, that there are a lot of DeadBeeF's users in archlinux community, so I decided to post a message about a new plugin for this great audio player.
This plugin allows you to view lyrics for the current playing song and biography of the current artist.
Main features:
Lyrics retrieving from the following web sites:
lyrics.wikia.com
lyricstime.com
lyricsmania.com
megalyrics.ru
Biography retrieving from Last.fm
Customizable locale settings for the artist's biography
Data caching with ability to customize cache update period
Dependencies:
gtk2
libxml2
deadbeef(requires version 0.5.0 or higher)
The cache is stored in the following directories:
~/.cache/deadbeef/lyrics
~/.cache/deadbeef/bio
Hope you will like it! Please, don't forget to vote if you like it.

Try building a PKGBUILD and putting it up in AUR. I am sure you will get a lot more users that way.
In any case, I will try this out tonight and see how it works.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

Much thanks for such an awesome plugin!

Thanks I installed it. It works for some of the regional songs that I listen to, but not all. Nonetheless, its a pretty neat little plugin.

Inxsible, LyricWiki support added, so you might re-install the plugin, maybe there are more lyrics there.

He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.
